マイケル・ジャクソンを偲んで_BENのテーマ

かってTV放映をVHSビデオテープに取り溜めていたもの、プロモーションフィルムを集めたＤＶＤ、このところの週末は必ずそれらを再生して観ている。

スリラーのプロモーションビデオを怖がっていた娘は、その後マイケルの大ファンとなった。家内が胎教したとか、僕が繰り返し見ていたからとか、各自勝手なことを言いながら観ている。（はて？息子はどうだったか？）

最近マイケルが十代の時に作ったという”BEN”をコニー・タルボットで聴いている。その歌詞を聴くたびに死の直前のマイケルの心情はどうだったのだろうと思う。最近のニュースをみると少なくとも孤独ではなかったようで少しほっとしたところもある。

世界中で追悼イベントが行われているが、一ファンとして、家族に共通の関心と話題を与え続けてくれたことに感謝しつつ、心からご冥福を祈ります。
